Air Gummidge: Blue-Grey Chibi Fighter Plane

Air Gummidge is a hand-drawn dieselpunk chibi fighter plane in blue-grey, low-slung on a single Dunlop tyre, with a wooden propeller, a red spinner and more rivets than is strictly sensible.

The history of flight has never looked so Scatterbrook. The markings read GB-XYZ beside an RAF roundel and a white fuselage band, SB on an orange-tipped tail, and a fin flash to round things off. The cockpit is trimmed in aged leather; close your eyes and the smell of old hide and hot oil brings the thing to life.

Meticulously detailed, gloriously painted and, I am told, a dream to fly.
