The Huxton Wombler: 1940s RAF Chibi Fighter
The Huxton Wombler is a hand-drawn dieselpunk chibi illustration of a 1940s RAF fighter in green and grey camouflage, with a big red W, the code GBR01 and a bomb called Fat Bob slung underneath.
It is the 1940s and Britain's skies are full of aircraft of every shape and size, dropping off nasty surprises or heading over the Channel with payloads of our own. This one wears the name "Wombling Free" on its fin, thanks to a childhood spent with the Wombles, plus a roundel, white invasion stripes and a four-bladed propeller with orange tips.
In truth it looks more like a chibi P-51 Mustang than anything the RAF flew, and I am quite happy with that.
