From Russia with love!

OK, so at the moment (2026) Russia and everyone else has had a falling out, but they did make some wonderful aircraft, like the MiG and so on, in true Soviet brutalist style — lovingly recreated in this chibi illustration. It's all Soviet bloc: rivets, metal and a brutal exhaust note, if you could hear it and it were real. The open cockpit was never a favourite of the imaginary pilots, and it being Russia there's probably no heating. Truly a Cold War.
